When I was writing the Arth Series books I tried to put at least two jokes in every 100 words.
"No you didn't," said Sid.
"Yes I did," said I to Sid.
"Some of your jokes aren't jokes."
"Really?"
"Sometimes you just repeat a word or rhyme something."
"And?"
"That's silly."
"Silliness is a type of humour."
"Silly Ness is also the name of that Scotsman."
"Yeas," said I in a long drawn out way similar to the one King Arthur used.
"Did you have to mention him," said Sid grumpily, "we were getting along fine without him!"
